From City Centre
If you arrive at Waverley station or the main bus station, Walk to the West end of Princes' street (the main street) Do this by keeping the Balmoral hotel (see photo) behind you and the castle on your left hand side
When you get to the west end of Princes' street, you will see the Caledonian Hotel (see picture) cross over the road and walk down this main road along the side of it. The castle will now be on your left side and the Caledonian hotel on your right.
Continue walking up this main road (Lothian road) and you will cross over 2 big crossroads. When you get to the 3rd crossroad (see photo) Carry on straight but slightly to the right. Check the street sign you should be on 'Home Street'
Follow this road up the hill. You will pass an interesting church on the left immediately followed by a petrol station. (see photo)
Take the next left after the petrol station. You are now on 'Whitehouse Loan' and there will be a park on both your left and your right.
Finally, you will pass a bicycle shop on your left hand side. Take the next turn on the right (Bruntsfield Crescent) about 100m up the road. We are at number 7, it has a blue door and a Scottish flag above the door (see photo).
